Javier Gomez, MD
Dr. Javier Gomez is a native of Mexico City, Mexico and graduated medical school among the top of his class at Anahuac University. After his internship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Gomez was a fellow in motility and neuro-gastroenterology and then completed his fellowship in general gastroenterology in 2012. After his extensive training, he joined Wichita Falls Gastroenterology Associates.
Dr. Gomez’s goal is to provide excellent care to all patients suffering from gastrointestinal, hepatic and biliary diseases. His area of interest includes general gastroenterology, endoscopy and colonoscopy; and diseases related to the abnormal movement of the digestive system.
Rick Y. Ho, MD
Dr. Rick Y. Ho has been an influential member of the medical community in Wichita Falls for nearly 40 years. He is a native of Hong Kong, China and finished his excellent medical education at the University of Hong Kong in 1970. After an internship at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong as well as a residency at the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the New York Medical College in New York City. Dr Ho moved to Wichita Falls in 1978 and was the first board-certified gastroenterologist to practice in the region. Since that time Dr Ho has worked in a variety of practice settings, including group practice in the Clinics of North Texas, solo-practice, and then helped establish Wichita Falls Gastroenterology Associates in 2005. He was also instrumental in the development of the Wichita Falls Endoscopy Center. Dr Ho continues to see patients with the goal to provide excellent care for all patients experiencing gastrointestinal, hepatic or biliary disorders.
Timothy McClellan, M.D.
Dr. Timothy W. McClellan, M.D. is both proud and honored to be serving patients here in his hometown of Wichita Falls. He attended Ben Franklin and Barwise before graduating high school from Rider. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. McClellan completed his residency in Internal Medicine as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Since completion of his Gastroenterology training in 2003 he has practiced here in Wichita Falls. He is proud to be a co-founder of both the Wichita Falls Endoscopy Center (2005) and Wichita Falls Gastroenterology Associates (2006). Dr. McClellan’s practice includes the spectrum of general gastroenterology as well as disorders of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas.
Christopher Morrison, M.D.
Christopher Morrison, M.D., graduated with high honors in 2006, receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology, minor in philosophy from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
From there, he received a Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, in 2010. His medical training has included an Internal Medicine residency at Boston University, Boston, MA, and Dr. Morrison recently completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, serving as Chief Fellow in 2015-16.
Louis J. Wilson, M.D., F.A.C.G.
Dr. Louis J Wilson is a native of Dallas, Texas, received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and was then a National Cancer Institute Fellow in Nutrition Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. Dr. Wilson completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology also at U.A.B in 1997 and has been practicing in Wichita Falls since that time. During his 20+ years in practice, he has become recognized nationally for his work for the American College of Gastroenterology and was advanced to Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology in 2015. He is on the Board of Directors for the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy and has authored dozens of scientific posters and papers. Dr. Wilson is active in clinical research in several areas including improving diagnostic testing for patients with esophageal symptoms, rapid diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, and the development of optimal dosing strategies for sedation. In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Wilson has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas.
Joshua Stagg, M.D.
Joshua Stagg, M.D., received his Doctor of Medicine in 2011 from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, and continued his training at the Baylor Scott and White Gastroenterology Fellowship Program, Temple, TX.
Dr. Stagg comes to Wichita Falls from Temple, TX, and after serving at the VA Central Texas Healthcare System and at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital, Waco, Texas.
Ronald Andari, M.D.
Ronald Andari, M.D., is a board-certified Gastroenterologist with specialized training in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. In 2010, after graduating in the top ten percent in his doctoral medicine program at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, Dr. Andari moved to Philadelphia, PA. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital. There, he was awarded with the 2013 Louis Tretin Memorial Award for best-overall Internal Medicine physician trainee.
Temple University Hospital was also where Dr. Andari completed his training in Gastroenterology and one additional year in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy. Dr. Ronald Andari is currently accepting new patients and he is fluent in Spanish and English.
Konappa Murthy, MD
Dr. Konappa Murthy has lived and practiced medicine in Wichita Falls for over 30 years. He is a native of India where his primary medical education was completed at Bangalore Medical College. After internships at Victoria Hospital and Vani Vilas Hospital in India, as well as a residency at Prince George General Hospital at the University of Maryland and Mt. Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at D.C. General Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Murthy's office is located at 1815 10th Street, Wichita Falls, TX 76301
Dr. Murthy is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and operates a solo-practice here in Wichita Falls.
